Újraindul a belföldi légiközlekedés Szlovákiában: a Wizz Air járatot indít a két legnagyobb város között
Hosszú szünet után ismét lesz repülőjárat Szlovákia két legnagyobb városa, Pozsony és Kassa között. A szlovák közlekedési minisztérium pénteki bejelentése szerint a nyilvános tender győztese a Wizz Air lett, így a magyar hátterű diszkont légitársaság indíthatja a járatokat.
Hosszú évek után újraindul a belföldi légiközlekedés Szlovákiában
A két város közötti légi összeköttetés hat év kihagyás után novemberben indul újra. A Wizz Air Airbus A321neo és A320-as repülőgépei heti kilenc alkalommal közlekednek majd a két város között: a hét minden napján lesz járat, hétfőn és pénteken reggel és délután is indul gép, míg vasárnap esti járatot iktattak be, számolt be az Ekonomika Pravda.

A menetrend szerint a járatok Pozsonyból reggel 6:30-kor, Kassáról 8:05-kor indulnak, az utazás mindössze 50 percig tart, írja az AIRportal.hu. Ez komoly időmegtakarítást jelent a vasúthoz képest, ahol a két város közötti út jelenleg körülbelül öt órát vesz igénybe.
Kedvező árakon indulnak az új járatok
A jegyárak egy irányba 19,99 eurótól (7,900 forinttól) indulnak, a felső határt 75 euróban (29,700 forintban), feladott poggyásszal 85 euróban (33,600 forintban) határozták meg. A menettérti jegyek legalacsonyabb ára 39,98 euró (15,800 forint) lesz.
A járat működését a szlovák állam is támogatja: a közlekedési miniszter, Jozef Ráž elmondása szerint a 2025 októbere és 2028 márciusa közötti időszakra legfeljebb 5,2 millió eurót különítettek el erre a célra.

A miniszter kiemelte:
„A Pozsony–Kassa járat felújítása határozottan csökkenti a nyugati és a keleti országrész közötti utazás idejét.”
A Wizz Air a közelmúltban jelentette be, hogy két Airbus A321neo géppel bázist nyit a pozsonyi M. R. Štefánik repülőtéren. A tervek szerint 12–13 új útvonalon indítanak járatokat, ami akár évi egymillió fővel is növelheti a reptér utasforgalmát.
